As part of our digital PR strategy here at Circa Interactive, we look to create strong, lasting relationships with local and global media outlets. While working with the University of San Diego’s Peace Studies program we landed an opportunity with Fox News, enabling an active professor to take part in a live studio interview on a channel that airs to over 900,00 San Diego adults every week. In the weeks prior to this studio interview we began speaking with a number of local media outlets about this university program and gave the producers a solid understanding about what the professors could offer as expert sources. This then enabled our client to be at the forefront of their minds when looking to discuss the ongoing issues in Cuba, and thus we received an email from Fox News enquiring if we had an expert at USD who would be interested in speaking with them. From here, we brought the two parties together, and less than 24 hours later our client was in front of a mass, relevant audience, providing the public with greater awareness on these issues.
